Artist Statement
|
My art is influenced by personal encounters with people and cultures while on extensive world travels.
The paintings are characterized by the use of vivid colours and bold images. My art school training at the "Taller Rufino Tamayo" in Oaxaca Mexico as well as courses
at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver B.C. shaped the direction of my art.
I have been painting and drawing for over ten years and exhibited and sold in Canada and Mexico.
